I opted for this thermometer over less-expensive units because I wanted something that was reliable and accurate. The first time I used it, the maximum indicator would not reset using either the reset button or the magnet. Now I have the hassle of returning it and finding another thermometer that works.
Any resemblance to the high-quality Airguide min/max thermometer of years ago is strictly cosmetic.
